HVAC Failure update – Update June 14th


All nanoFAB HVAC systems have returned to normal. The repair was complete mid-day on Wednesday and facility conditions appear to have returned to normal.

Victoria Day Holiday Closure


During Victoria Day, Monday May 21/12, the nanoFAB will operate under our after hours use policy. 

EBL Seminar Announcement


The nanoFAB will be hosting a Raith Seminar on Wednesday May 23 at 11:00 am in ECERF W2-021, titled “Novel Patterning Strategies by Modulated-Beam Moving Stage (MBMS) on the RAITH150-TWO”.

Facilities Shutdown Friday, May 4th (1PM) until Monday May7th


The U of A trades will be performing some major maintenance to the chilled water system for the ECERF building.  Please check the scheduler to see what equipment will be effected and when it will be available after the shutodown. Any questions, please contact a staff member.

Temporary change – Hours of Operation


On the mornings  (8AM – 1PM) of April 23rd, April 30th & May 7th, the nanoFAB staff will be off site and unavailable, therefore access to the nanoFAB will fall under our after hours policy. On each day listed above, access will return to normal at 1PM.

Easter Closure


The nanoFAB will be observing the Easter Holiday and as such facility access will fall under our after hours use policy for Friday, April 6/12 & Monday, April 9/12.  The nanoFAB will return to normal hours on Tuesday, April 10/12.

Family Day Holiday (February 20/12)


The nanoFAB will be closed on Monday February 20, 2011 as we are observing the Family Day holiday.  Access will fall under our normal after hours access policy.  We will return to normal hours on Tuesday morning.
