Winter Shutdown for the NanoFab

There will be very limited processing available after 1PM on December 19th, 2011. This is due to our annual shutdown, as well as some major upgrades that are occurring during this time.

Fall session for EBL Training will be offered Nov. 14 to 18 2011. On line registration is available through our Training Schedule Page. The number of places are limited, please register early to avoid disappointment.
NanoFab Introductory Training Course – November 2, 2011

We will be offering our mandatory Introductory Safety Training Course on Nov 2. 2011 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at the nanoFAB location. This Mandatory course is offered every 2 months hopefully capturing interested potential users in a timely manner.
Cleanroom is Open

The repairs to the cleanroom HVAC systems have been completed. We are now open and we will return to normal operating hours on Tuesday October 11, 2011 @ 7:30 AM. We appreciate your patience during this significant failure. Any questions or comments, please contact Keith.
Update – Cleanroom remains closed – 10K lab is Open

Update: As of 3:15PM on Friday October 7th, the cleanroom is still closed. It will remain closed until at least Tuesday, at which point we’ll reassess it’s status. .. …The cleanroom remains closed at this time as the U of A trades continue to work on the failed components of our HVAC system.

Heritage Day Holiday (August 1/11)

The nanoFAB will be closed on Monday August 1, 2011 as we are observing the Heritage Day Civic Holiday. Access will fall under our normal after hours access policy. We will return to normal hours on Tuesday morning.
