The nanoFAB is pleased to announce a new Application/Research Specialist staff member – Dr. Fenglin Liu in our Characterization Group.
A Ph.D. graduate in Chemistry and an NSERC postdoctoral fellowship awardee, Fenglin is an experienced researcher in the synthesis, characterization and applications of nanomaterials and self-assembly. His expertise and experiences in photovoltaics, self-assembly, nanometrology, soft nanolithography, silicon surface chemistry, and localized surface plasmon resonance will bring valuable skill sets to the nanoFAB team.
Fenglin’s primary areas of responsibility are Electron Microscopy (SEM/TEM) and X-Ray Spectroscopy (XRD/XPS). He will be working to support user training, fee-for-service work and process development. He is eager to work with and help our community members on their material characterization needs.
