Direct Write Install

The Heidelberg MLA 150 has been installed in the nanoFAB. You can watch a time lapse video of the install. Full capabilities and features are outlined, with commissioning and training to be completed shortly.

Did you know?

The nanoFAB consumes 20 cfm of nitrogen gas on an average day. This equates to approximately two Olympic sized swimming pools per day.

Upcoming Events

2nd Canadian Materials Diffraction Workshop (CMDW 2020)
University of Alberta
June 16 – 19, 2020The Workshop is targeted towards engineering and science students, postdocs and industrial researchers who would benefit from an improved understanding of the basic theory and practice of X-ray diffraction (XRD, XRD2 and XRD3) for characterizing materials – alloys, thin films, polymers, coatings, minerals, etc.Participation in the workshop will be limited to approximately 30 participants.“The Emerging Field of Quantum Electron Microscopy”
