FLUXiM PAIOS system is open for training.

The nanoFAB is pleased to announce that the Fluxim Paios system has been successfully commissioned and is open to user training now.

The Paios, a platform for all-in-one characterization of solar cells and OLEDs, can perform a large variety of electrical and optical characterizations with simple setup. The Paios measurement software allows preset experimental conditions to obtain consistent and precise measurement data and directly compare results in the measurement software.

The system is equipped with a while color LED illumination source, with 100 ns rise time and 1.7 cm2 illumination area, which enables repeatable measurements in 8 orders of magnitude in time in one shot.

Below are JV basic measurements obtained from commercial Silicon solar cells.

Device performance can be investigated at elevated temperatures, with the Liquid Nitrogen Temperature Module which has a temperature range of -150°C to +200°C and maximum temperature ramp of 30K/min.

Detailed information of the Paios system can be found here.

If you are interested to get trained on the tool, please submit a training request on LMACS. If you have any questions, please contact Peng Li (Peng.Li@ualberta.ca), Nancy Zhang (nzhang@ualberta.ca ) or Shiau-Yin Wu (shiauyin@ualberta.ca).
