Closure of CEIN domain – Effective November 1, 2014


The IT Support staff at the nanoFAB will be affecting a shutdown of all services that operate under the CEIN domain (cein.ualberta.ca). As of November 1, 2014 access to the following services will no longer be available:

If you have accessed, or are currently accessing, any of the services mentioned above, you are encouraged to remove any data prior to the shutdown date of November 1, 2014. WinSCP has been installed onto the terminal servers accessed via Sun Secure Global Desktop. A guide to using WinSCP to copy the data to your AFS space can be found here (http://ist.ualberta.ca/selfhelp/215).

After November 1, any data that remains will become unavailable.
